Facility Case Study - Court 1 Tennis

Formerly known as Baywinds Athletic Club, Court 1 Tennis initially began as a vision of the current owner, Brad Lynch, who dreamed of running a top-notch tennis facility with clinics, lessons, leagues, and courts full of players from beginners to competitive athletes. When the opportunity presented itself, Brad jumped at the chance to buy the facility he once played at as a junior and even taught at after college. With the purchase of the facility, the new owners put together a plan to renovate the entire facility which included:

  • resurfacing the tennis courts

  • updating the lighting system

  • updating the liner system on the ceiling area

  • adding insulation behind the later material

  • re-designing the locker rooms

  • updating the lobby and viewing areas

Below are 3 photos of the facility. The first one is before any work was initiated, the second is during the implementation process, and the third is right after our crew had completed the LED Lighting and Liner installation and the courts were resurfaced.

Below is a short video in the middle of the implementation of our LED Lighting and Liner Systems which offers a glimpse into the transformation of the indoor tennis court area.

After the implementation of our LED Lighting and Liner Systems was complete, the final results included a dramatically improved indoor tennis court area with increased light levels, better quality light, and overall, an indoor tennis playing experience that aligns with the owner’s vision of what he wanted his facility to include.
