Located in picturesque Bend, Oregon, Widgi Creek Golf Club is best known for it’s beautiful golf course. Aligning with the growing demand for pickleball amenities around the country, the Club received a lot of feedback from its membership in favor of adding pickleball courts to the Club. With a tremendous amount of support behind the initiative, it was determined that Widgi Creek would build an indoor pickleball facility. The plans included a building to house a total of 10 indoor pickleball courts.
Partway through the implementation of our LED System before the court surfacing
Sports Interiors was chosen to implement our LED System because we have worked with so many new construction projects of indoor sports facilities, especially racquet sports and are able to deliver a top tier indoor playing experience where there isn’t any glare and light is evenly distributed across the playing area. Our experience allows us to efficiently complete our work while minimizing disruption to the entirety of the construction project and other trades involved. With the bottom-side ceiling liner material in place, we decided to implement our LED System in an indirect manner, similar to how we install it in indoor tennis facilities. We were able to deliver light levels that created an optimal indoor pickleball playing experience for the Widgi Creek membership.
